Distilled in 2003
Matured in refill bourbon and sherry casks.
On the nose
Love the Xmas nose on this one. The sherry is there but not overwhelming the rest of the aromas. Dried fruit cooking on the stove. Some little spice and some chocolate notes. Very pleasing.
The taste test
Loads of fruity flavours coming out. From nose to taste buds The bourbon cask comes through but being ex bourbon cask does not add to much bitter or dark chocolate notes. The sherry is still there and makes it a pleasant experience
Love the wooden box presentation set.
